If you’re a fan of ABC’s hit show Grey’s Anatomy, then you most likely remember the earlier seasons (before every major character was killed off the show). Christina and Meredith would get together to vent about the stressors of their day, and then Christina would say “We’ve got to dance it out!” and then the two of them would get up and dance and act silly until they felt better.
Dancing it out is actually a GREAT tactic for shifting the mood if you’re feeling a little down, or for setting the tone for a GREAT day! If you don’t do this already, I highly suggest you try it! Make a playlist of some songs that you personally relate to as “theme songs” that could easily be played whenever you enter a room, then turn the volume up and DANCE IT OUT!
“..the joy of the Lord is your strength.” - Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT)
“This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.” -Psalms 118:24 (NLT)
Here is one of my personal “theme songs”: Victory by Yolanda Adams
